APPROACH

As your practitioner you can expect to be heard. Your intuition is a valuable window into understanding the landscape of your own health. As she gets to know you, in initial sessions you'll carve out the appropriate ratio of discussion time to treatment time. It is her aim to build a patient care relationship in which your health concerns are fully recognized.  She is committed to imparting you with tools and knowledge pertaining to your condition you can utilize beyond your treatments.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is steeped in thousands of years of wisdom and well equipped to address the superficial symptoms of disease (branches of the tree so to speak) as well as underlying deep-seated issues (root cause). She is honored to be among the multitude of generations who practice this medicine.  Her role is to authentically guide treatments so that your progress will empower you to have a greater handle on defining your own health.

PRIVATE CONSULTATION

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a comprehensive system of medicine. In your initial treatment you'll start with a 30-minute consultation to discuss your health concerns. After sharing with you her assessment, you will discuss a treatment plan and pace that feels right for your body. The course of treatment is dependent upon the severity and chronicity of the disorder. For acute conditions, the recommended frequency is once a week for 3-6 treatments.

Looking at tongue presentation, reading pulses, facial diagnosis and other observations are used to make a more accurate diagnosis in TCM. Often palpation of points along meridians of the body and abdominal palpation are commonly used to decide which methods will be most beneficial in your treatment.
